The Shared Futures SciArt collaborative couples science and art to present multiple ways of knowing by integrating research, education, and practice.

Our mission is to advance convergent and transformative practices by supporting artist-scientist partners to collaboratively produce artwork that conveys scientific messages for display at Explora! 

Join us for our first Shared.Futures Event where we showcase the work from our SciArt participants. Researchers from the University of New Mexico and local artists have teamed up to tell a scientific story through multiple artistic mediums. We are excited to present the works at Explora Museum for the month of August and hope you can come celebrate with us as we kick off this showcasing at Explora’s Meet the Scientists event.
